Birthday Cake! (and Pi)

Tonight I had friends over for cake.  It was delicious.  My old piano teacher who lives in Provo brought over a peach pie for "Pi Day" (3.14, get it?) that her amazing husband made.  Yum!  So we had cake and pie for my birthday!

20th Birthday Dinner!

Can you believe I'm turning 20?!?

My good friends Clarissa and Rebecca took me out to dinner at my favorite place tonight for my birthday.  It was a blast!  Man, I love that restaurant!  We were pretty goofy: flirting with the waiter, drawing on the table with the crayons, eating tons of that delicious bread, getting free cake and being serenaded with an Italian 'Happy Birthday' song.  Love it!

Oh, and I got my hair colored and cut today.  Check out the pictures!

The Best Thing That's Happened This Week

Ok, maybe it's not the absolute best thing that happened this week, but it comes close.

I ordered a new cover for my phone since I broke my old one.  And it's pretty schnazzy, not gonna lie.  :)

Ladies' Choice Harry Potter Dance

BYU threw 4 Preference dances this weekend.  Because of how fun it had turned out last year, I decided I wanted to go again.  I invited my ex-home teacher, Spencer.

I recruited my roommate, Laura, and neighbor, Alyse, to help me with the invite.  We spend a while having fun experimenting and playing with wax to make the seals on the back of the envelopes.

This is pretty funny.  We spent a lot of the night trying to figure out what some of the costumes were, and this was one of them.  They just had broccoli taped to the top of their hats.  We were stumped.

Then we saw them screaming at people for pictures, and realized they were mandrakes!  hahaha

So, I had to get a picture with them.

Clever, very clever.

There was a photo booth which was pretty awesome.

They gave us each a printout of the pictures, too.

Sweet!

Overall, it was a great night and I had a lot of fun!   And I'm glad that I got to indulge my Harry Potter obsession for one night.  :)
