Training Table
While I was growing up my mom would tell us about the restaurant in Utah where you called in your order from a phone at your table. She told me she didn't think they existed any more. But they sure do! Dad took me to eat at the Training Table and it was pretty neat. Dad said it still looks the same as when he was at BYU, so you can take a look for yourself if you've been there:

I didn't realize it made such an impression on you (my little bedtime stories about the restaurant with phones). It does look the same.

My roommates and I used to go here all the time! We would get the guys to drive us over (before we had our own cars) and promise to buy them fries for their efforts.
Okay...so I love Training Table and have told my kids about it as well (we took them there one year). But get what? Training Table is the sight of me and John's first date. Can you believe that? Such memories. My favorite thing to get at training table are the onion rings and the ultimate dipping sauce. Try it!
I think I'll have to wait to go there again until someone with a car wants to take me there on a date. Having no car is kind of driving me insane... But I love their fry sauce there because they make it with BBQ sauce and no ketchup. Mmm! So good!
OK that is my high school hang out!!! I love Training Table!!! That is going to be on my list of things to do the next time I am in Utah! Looks like you are having so much fun! We sure miss you around here!
