Summer Invitational

Wow, I just got a hankerin' for blogging tonight I guess. Maybe it's because I can't think of anything else mindless to do. :) So, last Saturday night I went to my first BYU dance. Yes, I know, how the heck did I make it though a year at BYU without going to a dance? Well, I guess my first claim wasn't entierly true. It's the only BYU dance I've been to where I actually went for the dancing. LOL.

I had to plan it with all the other RAs for part of our employment duties. It turned out to be really nice. Lots of (delicious) food, and some fun dancing. They even played 2 Michael Jackson songs, which I thought was funny. More slow songs that I expected with all the club-style music, but it was nice. Would have been nicer had anyone asked me to dance, but I guess I'm a natural wall flower. I did miss my wall-flower buddy, Clay, but I managed to enjoy watching the dance. Plus, I had to work a shift at the food table, so I basically got to stand there and eat (Serioulsy, that's what they told me to do-- we had too much food!)

Anyway, here are a few pictures that I took of myself after the dance, because I forgot to take my camera to the actual dance. You can see the pretty dress I borrowed from a girl in my building's friend. It was "The Blue and White Ball: A Blue Tie Affair."
