First off, let me tell you that this semester has caught me by surprise.
Firstly, it literally snuck up on me, and it took me a good couple of weeks to get my head in the game and realize I was actually in school again.
Secondly, my classes are hard this semester. Real hard. I don't think I've ever had to work this hard in my life for anything. Talk about a wake-up call! It's stressing me out pretty good.
I'm having to learn:
-how to get enough sleep,
-how to get enough hours at work to make enough money to pay rent and buy food,
-how to manage stress and not just bottle it up,
-how to be social with my new ward,
-how to fulfill my church calling,
-how to exercise effectively,
-and how to make time for existing friends.
Somehow, there's hardly even enough time to get sleep, work, go to classes, and finish my homework, let alone all those other things.
I think it's just going to be one of those semesters.
But, I really don't have anything to complain about, since there are plenty of others with much tougher lives than me.
Besides, I have great roommates, supportive friends, an awesome ward. And I'm learning about stuff I really like. And I'm going to BYU for crying out loud!
Sometimes I think I'm spoiled. :)

Posters
Sorry it's been a while since I posted. School is keeping me busy, busy, busy. I think I might go crazy by the end of the semester. This week, for example, I have to teach myself HTML and Javascript and incorporate both into a website (from scratch). I also have to write a program that translates words into Pig Latin. And I have to do a big photo editing project with Gimp. Great stuff. Really, it is interesting, but it takes a lot of time.
Also, I just got a calling as a Relief Society teacher. I taught my first lesson today! I planned way too much and our class time was cut short, but I thankfully wasn't nervous and a lot of people participated, so it went really well!
I got some awesome posters from the bookstore this week. I'm pretty much in love with them. I'd never seen either of them before, but I thought they were pretty awesome! :)
Well, that's it for me right now. Hopefully I'll have slightly more exciting things to post about in the coming weeks. Peace!

Apartment Tour
For those of you who don't know, this year I stayed in the same apartment I've been in since January. I did switch rooms, so now I have more space and a bigger closet, which is super nice. My mom has still not seen it, but she did used to live in this complex 23 years ago when she met my dad. So, here's a video tour of the apartment, just for Mom (and Dad will probably appreciate it, too.) Enjoy!
BYU Football
Football season! Ok, I know that I wasn't the greatest football fan last year (ok, maybe that's an understatement.)
But, I have repented of my evil, anti-football ways and am giving it a go again this year!
And, another plus: WE WON!!! GO COUGARS!! (I'm really working on my football spirit here)

And, it doesn't hurt that I have someone to go to games with now.
It's so fun having Clay out at BYU!!

Some pictures from the game:
Our seats, really high up
View of the mountains from top of the stadium

The stadium at sunset-- favorite picture of the night.
