First FHE

So, tonight we still hadn't heard anything about who was in charge of our FHE group or when we were meeting or anything, so I called the Bishopric and they told me to just go ahead and organize it for this week since they hadn't gotten a hold of the Mom and Dad for our group. So I got my list of people, and started looking everyone up on Facebook. I found most everyone. I got in touch with at least one girl from each of the other two girl apartments in our group, and had them come over at 830p. Then we took a field trip over to the boys' apartments and banged on their doors-- literally. So in the end we had all of the girls except one of my roommates, Clarissa, and 4 boys out of the 6. Pretty nice turn out for VERY late notice. I had everyone write birthday wishes for Lela Machado since tomorrow's her birthday (and the Wilkinson Center's post office has same-day delivery to the MTC) so I could mail them to her tomorrow. Then my roommate Steff gave a spiritual thought, and we played I've Never for a while. It was fun, but mostly just to be there with everyone and laugh and talk. Then all the girls left when we were done and some of the boys, but 2 of guys stayed behind. Steff and I thought they were just talking for a couple minutes because we were standing by the door, but then we all gradually sat down and kept talking for a while. Then their other roommate came back after he did something at his apartment, and he stayed, too. We just kept talking for a long time, and they were so fun and such nice guys. Then they left at about 11, and Clarissa finally got back a half hour later. She had been in the library ALL DAY. Poor girl! And she missed a totally fun FHE. Won't happen again! lol
