What a perfect day to welcome summer... with my first day of class. lol It's actually my favorite professor teaching the second part of my favorite class: Music: Civilization. It's a humanities class with an emphasis on music. I love it and the professor! Class was supposed to be 2 1/2 hours long today, but because the textbooks aren't in yet, it was only a half hour. I got to spend the rest of my day ticking random things off my to-do list. I did my first assignment for my D&C class, which is tomorrow at 9. Woo! I also made flashcards with my girl's pictures on them so I can learn their names fast. I calendared my homework assignments and cleaned the bathroom counter which was disgusting. haha.
We had ward FHE tonight and it was a delicious dinner of sloppy joes! Yum! I met a couple new girls, and started talking to Britain, one of the girls in my building, a little more. She's a vocal performance major, and sings beautifully. She's also a senior and like 2 years older than me, but I like her a lot. I love our bishopric, they are just so fun and funny. I left right before we played a game, which I suspected was "Duck, Duck, Goose" like the last time I was in their ward.
I have my first roving shift tonight as an RA. I get to walk around Wyview for the next 4 hours until midnight and check that things are ok. Oh boy! lol I hope it goes quickly, because I am ready for bed! :)
Still love and miss you all! <3
