Well, I survived my first week back at BYU. Classes are going great so far. Sadly, they are going a little too slow I think (I got used to the accelerated pace during summer term I guess).
So... let me share the highlights of the week.
Monday I had my first class with Brother Robinson, the guy who wrote Believing Christ. He's an amazing guy. His humor is subtle, but he just cracks me up. That's going to be a great class.
I got wolf-whistled at on the bus. It was this goof Jacob Call. He's great. lol
I had LDS Temples class with Brother Cowan. He's this sweet, old, blind guy, and man, he's just awesome! He's very intelligent, and honestly, I am going to LOVE this class.
I dumped my dinner on the floor Wednesday night. Most frustrating thing ever. Not like I have food to spare. :/
Thursday the bus I rode home took a wrong turn, and so it missed my stop, and I ended up stranded at Wyview. So, I visited on of my girls from summer term who was still living there, Susan. We chatted, then she took me out to eat at the pizza place where she works. Then we went to the temple later that night.
I've been trying to wake up at 6 this week, but the closest I've gotten was 7:40 on Friday morning. I epically failed every other day.
I got a locker in the Clyde Engineering building today and that is my new study spot. I got almost caught up on this week's work.
I also took a 6 hour nap in the Memorial Hall in the Wilk. Yeah, I know, fail. lol
So now it's after 1 in the morning and I am awake as anything, so I decided to blog. :)
Tomorrow's the first football game of the season, and BYU is playing Oklahoma in Arlington, Texas (yeah, go figure). I think I will head up to campus early and get some studying done, then watch the game being broadcast to the Wilk.
GO COUGARS! (We're going to get squashed...) Go , go, GO!
