I Love Studying
I have discovered a love of studying. I can't believe how much of a slacker I've been my whole life. This study-all-day is a welcome breath of fresh air for me. I know, weird, huh? I spend all day in the Clyde building study room reading economics and American literature.

Economics and Piracy
Slightly related, I had to write a short paper on some economic current event. Turns out the porn industry is stuggling in this economy. The culprit? Not lower income-- it's piracy. Why pay for it when you can get it for free? The same goes for all types of entertainment. The moral? Don't pirate-- it really does matter. Even though, I personally think it would be a good thing if the porn industry went out of buiness, on the other hand, it would really not be cool if the same thing happened to the music or movie industry. ((For a non-realted 'pirate' laugh see this previous post of mine.))

Things That Taste Good
In other news, I like vanilla ice cream now. I've had this adversion to it ever since I can remember.

Also, sour cream is now on my list of Things That Taste Good. (Even though it, strangely, really has no taste or flavor per se...)

On a whim and a recommendation from a reliable source, *cough-Kim-cough* I tried the new Angus burger from McDonald's today. The Deluxe. It was delicious, and it took me forever to eat which made it worth the $4 investment. Two thumbs up!

My Life is Average.com
I found a really fun site to browse while I'm bored at work, which rarely happens, I promise. It's called My Life Is Average.com, or MLIA for short. People post "average" stories that happen to them, and very rarely are they really average. Usually they are pretty epic. I look like a fool laughing at my computer screen while reading them, though.

New Major?
On a slightly more life-changing note, I think I might have finally decided on a major. No, of course not the one I am declared as right now. Hooray for the 3rd major change-- that is, if I decide to do it. It's Ancient Near Eastern Studies (ANES). It came about because of my New Testament class. I have this desire to read the Bible in it's original languages. The Old Testament in Hebrew and some parts in Aramaic, and the New Testament in Greek. Both are different focuses you can do in ANES. Double major? Aaaand, I kind of want to minor in Italian. Am I overly ambitious? I think I'm going to be in college longer than I expected....

One Good Man- New Mormon Movie
Today I was told about the movie "One Good Man" by a good old friend, Josh Scearce. He thought it looked good, and I'd never heard of it. After seeing the trailer I think it looks good too-- it's about Mormons. Check out the trailer:
