Some of my favorite places to naps include:
-Couches in the Memorial Hall
-Arm chairs in the Wilkinson Center
-The floor anywhere (like, say, across from the vending machines for example...)
-My bed
-Head down on a desk (preferably on an open textbook or jacket)
And my personal favorite:
-Couch in the bathroom in the Clyde building (I once slept there for 6 hours-- talk about skills)
I want to hear your stories about favorite places you have taken naps (especially if you were at BYU), or what the strangest place you have taken a nap is. :)

I used to love the lounges in the bathrooms of the McKay building and the HBLL. I didn't nap on them, but I would chill and study there sometimes.
I can't believe you slept for 6 HOURS in the Clyde building! You were tired!
My favorite place to sleep was underneath a desk in the far off reaches of the library. The floor was uncomfortable, but there is absolutely NO noise. I think it got to a point where I slept there more than I studied there...
Ahh, the lack of inhibitions of college campus life . . . sleeping in public. I see sleeping students all the time here at UCF too. As I remember, there was no shortage of good nap sites at the Y. I would stow away on the second floor of the HBL Library, but really anywhere you could pull the padded furniture together, take your shoes off, and put your feet up would work. My favorite location, though, came to be the old Memorial Lounge in the ELWC (now the WILK or WSC). The lounge is no longer there, but it was a sweet retreat in its day, and huge. I did a lot of reading, studying, and (yes) sleeping there as a student. I wonder from whom you may have inherited your awesome napping skills. :)
I was a Napatarian in college. I think that is a time in life where you need a lot of sleep - or maybe you are just up too late consistently so it seems like you need a lot more sleep. ;)
Anyhoooo - I slept in my car a lot. A LOT LOT. Me and Arriba Aribba Festiva Festiva would find a shady spot and snooze. I also slept a great deal in libraries and in a bathroom at UCF that still had a big old 1970s sofa in it. You flushed - I snoozed. Whatevs. And I was a master at sleeping in the breakroom at my job.
Oh the memories are coming flooding back. Yes...I did nap alot in college. I didn't always mean to...but sometimes it just happened. Up early, lots of classes, lots of studying...and then staying up all hours of the night "playing"...so yes...the naps were needed. I spent SO much of my time in the library, probably 4-5 hours a day (I liked to get all my homework done before I went back to my apartment to PLAY), and since I was there so much, I certainly couldn't stay awake the WHOLE TIME. right? No six hour naps for me, but probably a daily power nap for about 20 minutes. I studied a lot in the LRC...bottom floor of the library (probably not there anymore). I would listen to the classical music on the head sets, study in the nifty little private cubbies, and then nap with my head straight down on desk. I also knew where all the best lounges were in the bathrooms (john said the boys bathrooms didn't have couches..too bad for them), and I would occassionally take an hour nap there. I was always so angry if someone had stolen my idea...and the couch was taken. Oh...and I also napped in the middle of classes (I didn't mean to...out of my control), especially if it was an afternoon class...and especially if it was a video or slide show. Whoops. And one last napping place...outside on the grass. I loved sitting on the grass, under a tree to study...and sometimes I needed to just enjoy the outdoors with a nice nap. Hmm...I bet that looked cute.
